Infectious Doilies

Diseased doilies from Laura Splan.

These Doilies from Laura Splan have been woven in the shape of various infectious diseases such as Sars, HIV, Herpes, Influenza and Hepadna. Splan took microscopic images of the virus and then printed them off using a digital loom.
